Funding Options

You do not need a referral to see an Occupational Therapist or a Speech Pathologist. Medicare rebates are available to help with the cost of ongoing therapy if you get a referral from your doctor. These referral plans include:

• Chronic Disease Management Plan (5 sessions)
• Better Access to Mental Health Plan (10 sessions)

You can also use your private health cover to help with the cost of therapy.  Check with your individual health insurance to see if you can claim. The amount of rebate varies depending on your cover.
